As a student of Exeter Film and Television Studies you will benefit from access to world leading teaching and study resources. Our stimulating programme will help you develop a deep and wide-ranging knowledge of film and television and their relationship to other visual art forms.

Our degree programmes will introduce you to film and television history in new and exciting ways. You will be able to interact with historical cinema artefacts hands-on in our unique on-campus site The Bill Douglas Cinema Museum. You will learn how to theorise the screen image and how to understand the complex industrial structures that surround film and television production. You will also learn to find your own voice and viewpoint as an active member of our scholarly community.

Many of our degree programmes also include opportunities for professional placements, field trips, and study abroad.
